Your privacy.

What we keep.

Your email address, so you can sign in with a code, and the name you choose.

The campaigns you sync: pages, sheets, maps and the images you upload, plus who you invited. These live on your devices and on our server so they can sync and be shared with your players.

A record of your purchase: which price you paid and Paddle's order number. We never see your card details.

If a link brought you here with a tag on it, like the ?from=ig at the end of a link in one of our posts, we keep that tag when you open the checkout, and on your purchase record if you buy. It tells us which post or video brought a buyer. It says nothing about you.

Our web server keeps short logs of requests, including IP addresses, to keep Steading running and safe. They are deleted after a few weeks.

What we don't.

No analytics, no ads, no tracking pixels and no cookies on this site. The app keeps your sign-in and your campaigns in your own browser or device storage so it works offline.

That link tag waits in your own browser storage until then. Nothing reads it but you and the checkout, and it is never followed around the web.

Notes marked for the game master only are never sent to players' devices.

Who else sees it.

Only the companies Steading needs to run, and only what they need: DigitalOcean hosts our server in the United States, Resend delivers our sign-in emails, and Paddle handles purchases as our reseller under its own privacy policy.

Players you invite see what you share with them. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone, and we only hand it over if the law makes us.

Your choices.

You can export your campaigns at any time from the app. To see, correct or delete what we keep about you, or to close your account, write to us and we will do it within 30 days.

Steading is not meant for children under 13.
